Roll Um Easy-Arundel's Mountain Bike Flow Trail
#ACTMTB
It's time for Arundel to get on their bikes!
Our flagship property, the Arundel Community Trails is located right behind the new Arundel Town Hall ( 257 Limerick Rd, Arundel, ME 04046) and leads all the way to the Eastern Trail. It was the vision of ACT and the Town of Arundel to create, for the first time in our history, a true town center for Arundel. To complete our multi-trail use vision for the land, we are beyond excited to share with you our latest project in partnership with the Town of Arundel Board of Selectmen.. bringing the first mountain bike flow trails to Southern Maine!
Our vision
A mountain bike experience worthy of our kids and all levels of riders in our town and surrounding communities to promote time in nature via a fun and healthy activity.
Flow trail built by Maine Trail Builders
- Summer 2020
Mountain bike flow trails are modern-day biking playgrounds for all ages. They are carefully designed and use the natural landscape to create an organic ‘flowing’ trail with features like banked turns or berms, smooth rolling bumps, and other agility-type features that aid to keep momentum on the trail. The trail’s design allows for a wide range of skill levels, from young kids to expert enthusiasts, providing more opportunities for riders of all abilities to enjoy mountain biking.
Our Goal
Raise funds to support the world class build of mountain bike flow trails on ACT's Arundel Community Trails property and to support other mountain bike projects in Arundel, promoting connectivity of our trails with the Eastern Trail and beyond.
In 2022 we completed Phase 2 of the Roll Um Easy Flow Trail, connecting the current trail all the way down to the Eastern Trail!
We continue to need your support as each season brings wear and tear on the trail. We are 100% volunteer-led non-profit organization working hard to keep all our trails open, maintained and enjoyed by Southern Maine! We continue to work with Maine Trail Builders to ensure that the trail is maintained and safe and fun for riding.
